Gaz Twister 270 camping stove
WHY BUY IT: The Gaz is about as reliable a stove as you can get for the money. It produces good output and has good
stability. Also, it is easy to control the flame with the sensitive burner knob and folds up quite easily without creating too many points to jab you.
The drawbacks are the stove weighs more than most stoves and it only uses a Gaz canister. Another thing that can be tricky with it is attaching the stove to the canister. It does take a little work before you learn how to do it right.
For the price and durability, this would make a good stove the beginner backpacker.
COST: $25
WEIGHT: 7.5 ounces for twister and 220 grams or 454 grams for canister depending on the size.
