Sierra Designs Spectrum convertible
sleeping bag

WHY BUY IT: Nothing sucks more on a backpacking trip than a bad night sleep. This sleeping bag gives you a lot play in more ways than one.
First, it has a rating of 0 degrees with the top
layer zipped on and 15 degrees with the top layer removed. By zipping the layer to cover more or less of you, you can slightly adjust your sleeping temperature. Though the regular fits only those 6-foot and shorter, the long keeps cozy those to 6-foot-6 inches. The bag is insulated with Polarguard 3D synthetic fibers and has an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio and continues to insulate when wet.
Separate adjustment cords make custom fitting around your head easy, even in the dark and Pad Locks loops at the shoulders and hips provide an attachment point to keep your bag and sleeping pad together despite your tossing and turning.
The bag's exterior is made of a polyester mini-rip shell with a durable water-repellent finish. The bag comes with a stuff sack.
COST: $239
WEIGHT: 4 pounds
SIZE: Fits those up to 6 fee tall with a shoulder girth of 63 inches
