DURANGO MOUNTAIN RESORT BENEFIT DAY
Benefit Day proceeds going to local September 11 group and San Juan Mountains Association. Durango Mountain Resort continues their tradition of firing up the lifts a day early this year to raise money for local nonprofit groups. On November 21st, the day before the official opening, skiers and boarders can hit the slopes for just $10. Food, beer, live music, guided snowshoe treks, and educational booths will highlight the season-opening celebration. All lift ticket receipts will go to the Southwest Colorado Cares fund and the San Juan Mountains Association.

The snowcat rides of 15-20 minutes between runs gives you time to relax, clean off your goggles, and keep warm. The large windows and superb sound system helps make this an unforgettable experience. And, unlike heli-skiing, the snowcat always goes -
regardless of the weather. Even on the stormiest of days you'll be out enjoying the fresh powder!

operates in approximately 35,000 acres of the San Juan National Forest near Durango Mountain Resort, about 25 miles north of Durango. Elevations range from 8,800 at the base to 12,500 feet at the summit of Greyrock Peak.
The terrain chosen each day is determined by weather, visibility, snow stability, snow quantity and quality. The majority of the skiing consists of challenging old growth forests and gladed bowls. Take a snowcat ski trip - it's a day you'll never forget! For reservations and information, call 970.259.9671.
