Silver Creek offers snowbiking to snowshoeing
   Fresh track freaks should know you still can find gleaming snow in Horn Creek Bowl in Silver Creek days after the snow hits. Located two-and-a-half hours and 102 miles from Fort Collins in Grandby, Silver Creek has the second-largest night skiing acreage and was the first resort in the U.S. to introduce snowbiking.
    Vital statistics: The vertical rise is a neat 1,000 feet with 287 skiable acres, 5 lifts and 33 trails. They claim an average showfall of 220 inches. Special facilities include a top-to-bottom terrain park, Fun Zone for kids, 40k Nordic trail system, night skiing, tubing, the aforementioned snowbiking, sleigh rides and snowshoeing. Season is November 22 to April 8.
