mogul away
When you have the minimum of time and
the maximum of need, Eldora Mountain Resort is the place. Just a one-and-a-half
hour drive of 75 miles, Eldora can scratch the snow sport itch with a
minimum of fuss. This season your backyard ski resort has new expert run
in Corona Bowl and improved gladded ski area.

to bottom; slow, old lifts; friendly staff; hardcore local skiers, and
a wicked wind coming in from Corona Pass, Eldora is a favorite of many

Beginners and novices ski areas are located on the east side of the parking
lot, with three chairlifts and a tow far away from the high-speed traffic.
Intermediates and advanced skiers are given 14 runs--cruisers and bumpers--
served by three lifts. Experts have Corona Lift, with the fast Corona
Bowl and a couple of big, tightly gladed forest runs.
Beyond Corona is West Ridge, a bump run as steep and scary as any in the
state. Between the main hill and the novice area is a race-training hill
that's roped off most weekends.
