Colorado
snow resorts in our backyard
Whether
you love your winter sports on the more traditional skis, the rough
and tumble snowboards, the backwoods cross country skis and snowshoes
or perhaps in the form of ice cubes in a cozy snow chalet, Colorado's
snow resorts have it all.
From
Arapahoe Basin to Wolf Creek, Colorado is known for it's snow-capped
mountains. From November to April, Denver International Airport and
the many smaller mountain airports bustle with those who must fly
in for brief snow vacations. Meanwhile, Colorado residents sport Cheshire-sized
grins, knowing they can pack up the car for a quick ski weekend any
time they choose.
To
help Northern Colorado residents make the most of their snow get-aways,
we've compiled an analysis of our state's offerings, includings information
on snowboarding, websites, skiable terrain, snow reports and more |
